Jason is the Principal Solicitor for Massar Briggs Law.
Awarded the esteemed John Koowarta Scholarship for Excellence in Legal Studies by the Law Council of Australia in the years 1997-8.
Jason has a pedigree in tenacity and when he initially opened his legal practice in Cairns, Far North Queensland, he was involved in obtaining justice for a family that suffered in the highly controversial multiple wrongful deaths of the Malu Sara Tragedy of 2005 in the Torres Strait. The defendants in this case included, inter alia, the Cth. Government, Qld Government and Qld Police.
Jason is the owner of Australian Visa Hub, an international immigration agency for Australian Visas with offices in South Asia (most notably India and Sri Lanka). However, during the CoVid Pandemic, naturally some of these operations have been reduced for the time being.
Jason is currently entrusted with managing the native title claim applications of the Boonwurrung Peoples (Vic) and Wamba Wemba Peoples (Vic. & NSW).
